Nissan Altima Hybrid

Nissan Altima Hybrid is the Nissan-made car based on a hybrid technology, this is the first experience of the Japanese company in creating a car provided with a gasoline-electric power plant.

Most of the manufacturers have long ago started using this combination to attract more customers: some are attracted by the low fuel consumption, others admire such cars for being environment-friendly.

Nissan Altima Hybrid is provided with a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter engine, electric motor, and with a generator. What is more, 1 gallon of fuel is enough on 36 miles: in the city the car consumes about 8 liters per 100 km and even less on the highway.

What is more, the novelty is provided with a new electronic Continuously Variable Transmission.

Nissan Altima Hybrid is built on the base of Hybrid Synergy Drive technology developed by Toyota specialists.

The first Nissan-produced hybrid is driven by a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter QR25 power plant unitized with a complementary electric motor and together these two engines produce 198 hp.

Nissan Altima Hybrid needs half a second more than Nissan Altima provided with a conventional 2.5-liter gasoline engine to do 0-100 km/h.Amtel
