The Disadvantages of Hybrid Automobiles

It is really difficult to produce a hybrid car, which is actually the disadvantage.

Besides hybrid automobiles are as a rule more expensive than ordinary cars provided with internal-combustion engine.

Rechargeable batteries hybrids are provided with have a rather low category temperature range and are subject to self-discharge, besides they are rather expensive to repair.

At present not every prominent automobile manufacturer can boast of its own hybrid system: Porsche refused independent designing of a hybrid car while Mitsubishi didn't even try creating a hybrid but produced electric cars only. Hybrid Synergy Drive, which is Toyota's invention, is the best hybrid for now.

One more problem of every hybrid is a problem of batteries' utilization (every hybrid features them by the way). Evidently, no one estimated the environmental affect of those thrown out batteries.
