The Reasons for Hybrid Automobiles' Designing

Increased demand on such type of cars was the main reason for putting motor hybrids in production. Accretion of demand was the consequence of constantly growing prices on fuel and of the demands concerning the environmental pollution.

Having taken into consideration high technologies as well as various tax remissions hybrids' producers were provided with, it turned out that frequently these models are less expensive than their siblings.

No doubts that electric automobiles in their turn have both advantages and disadvantages and there are a lot of them.

The advantages are rather well-known while not many are aware of the fact that these cars need long-continued battery charging and there are few that would really appreciate the weight of this battery. What concerns the kilometrage it is rather modest as there are no "gas stations" for such cars. Therefore in order to get rid of the above mentioned disadvantages an alternative variant was developed, that is, a hybrid automobile.
