Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept

Toyota is going to present its concept car FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept during Detroit motor show. This automobile of the future will be provided with a hybrid power plant of 400 hp.

All those who wish to see this novelty, which is the result of the latest technical innovations, have to hurry up to take their seats in the front row.

FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept is a stylish two-door coupe that boasts of exclusive body design and 400-horsepower drive. It will undoubtedly be the most popular concept of the show.

Along with an original conceptual body design this concept stands out for a hybrid power plant borrowed from Lexus GS450h.

Here it is introduced as a 292-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine unitized with a 197-horsepower electric motor. This combination allows Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept doing 0-100 km/h in some 4 seconds and developing the top speed of 250 km/h.

It is still unknown whether Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept will be put into serial production however if it is, it will cost 35 000 $ and over in the USA in 2009.
